| Name: The Knife Game Cost: One Full MP Bar Inflict: Normal weapon damage per stab. Stabs are determined thusly: A die is rolled. The number on the die does not determine number of stabs, but rather determines whether the next stab hits. If the next roll is higher than the previous, then the attack ends. If it is higher, the attack continues and another die is rolled. If the first roll is a 1, David's trick proceeds as normal and stabs around the person's outline, doing no damage. Three stabs at most. If, however, a die is rolled and turns up the same twice in a row, then David attacks an extra time. If all three die turn up the same number, David attacks six times. Example: Rolls 5, Rolls 4, Rolls 3=3 attacks. Rolls 5, Rolls 6= 1 attack. Rolls 3, Rolls 3, Rolls 2 = 4 attacks. Rolls 4, Rolls 4, Rolls 4= 6 attacks.
Further Explanation: Say the first die rolled is a five. The next die rolled is a four. As of right now, David will stab twice. If the next roll is higher than four, that's the end of it. But if he rolls lower than four, then three stabs are performed, ending the attack. So rolling a five, a four, and a five results in two attacks. If the roll is five, four, then one there will be three attacks. If the roll is five, then six, then 2 it will still only be one attack. Zone: One person Effect: David decides to show off his manual dexterity, inviting the enemy to the knife game. If David gets a hold of the person, they are frozen in place while the attack commences. David draws his trident dagger, twirling it in a flourish before attacking. David goes into a stabbing frenzy, hoping not to stab his new mark. Unfortunately, David tends to mess up the attack and stabs his enemy. If David hits his target, he is infinitely more likely to his them more times. It's a slippery-slope effect. Once David finishes his trick (Or his target is dead) they are unfrozen and drop to the ground.

| Okay...
I understand that you explain it as best you could in the "Inflict" area, but can you explain the dice roll system just a little bit better? I don't get how you come out with what deals what.
Also, 6 attacks of max damage is overpower. And by "1/2" for cost, I assume you mean half of maximum mp? for 6 attacks, that's a bit overpowered, too. I'd prefer it if you made it so this can only be used once per mp bar. | |

| At the risk of sounding insubordinate, I must respectfully disagree with the attack limitation. Since the attack has a MUCH higher risk of completely failing and draining David's mana (A 1 in 6, since rolling a one at first ends the attack without doing damage), and the odds of rolling three of the same number is one in 216, I feel that six attacks is fair. I feel that I should mention that the attacks are susceptible to damage mitigation from armor. I will agree to the mana use increase and addition to the inflict, of course. | |
